100-day TDP rule has flopped: Ambati

Hyderabad,
Sept 15, 2014: Describing the 100-day term of TDP government as a flop show littered
with a bundle of lies, unkept promises and unkempt governance benefiting the
Chief Minister’s coterie, YSR Congress has said it did not provide any succor
to the farmers, women groups, pensioners, employees or other sections of the
people.

“Chandrababu
Naidu has been constantly deceiving the people by not fulfilling his core poll
promises on one hand and has been on a self-boasting and pompous spree caring
very little to the loan waiver and other promises and has been staking false
claims with the help of his friendly media,” Party official spokesperson Ambati
Rambabu told reporters here on Monday.

Staking
false claims on achieving Polavaram project and surplus power in the State is
quixotic as not a single issue of the five files he has signed was taken up.
Though he signed the file to waive all agriculture and DWACRA loans that did
not materialize, he has set up a committee to study the feasibility of the
project to buy time.

On the
other hand, when the Centre has set up Sivaramakrishnan Committee to identify
the capital city, the Chief Minister has more than announced Vijayawada as the
capital where the land cost has jacked up benefitting his coterie.

We are
not against any city being named as capital but are taking objection to the
manner in which it was announced even before the Central Committee has given
its recommendations. The contrast lies in the fact that, loan waiver is an
election promise which should have been implemented immediately after assuming
office for which he has set up a committee to delay the process.

Capital
city is to be formed after the committee gives its recommendations which should
be thoroughly discussed and debated in the assembly but he has announced the
city name without going through the process as it benefits his close
associates, Rambabu said.

TDP
government has been delaying the loan waiver on one pretext or the other, old
age pension has its own hurdles, Rs 2 per litre of mineral water did not take
off, belt shops were not closed down, the relaxation of retirement age from 58
to 60 does not apply to 44 PSUs and the drastic reduction of plan expenditure
shows that Chandrababu Naidu is not interested in carrying out the welfare
schemes benefitting the weaker sections and minorities.

“Chandrababu
Naidu has given nearly 200 assurances during his electioneering and another 300
during his padayatra but not a single promise was fulfilled and his governance
gets just 25 on a scale of 100 during his 100 days of office which will be
completing tomorrow,” he said.

The
development could be seen only in the friendly media of TDP and his 100 days
are full of Ms which stand for money, (political) murders, manipulations,
malfunctioning and media management. To sum it up his four-month term is a flop
show” he said.
