Amaravati: Telugu Desam MLCs have entered the Legislative Council pre-planned to scuttle the bills and stall government functioning, said Minister for Municipal Administration Botsa Satyanarayana.
Addressing the media on Thursday, the Minister stated that Chandrababu Naidu's forty-year-old experience is only being used to put the public priorities at stake. While having a discussion under Rule 90, a notice has to be given a day in advance, but TDP members have intentionally raised Rule 90 to halt the bills and delay salary payment to employees. He further said that the TDP members have purposefully created disturbance in the House and even the Deputy Chairman was seen biased towards them. It was clearly witnessed that the TDP MLCs were aggressive and misused their majority to stall the House proceedings, he said.
He criticised Nara Lokesh for taking videos of the proceedings on his cell phone and circulating them on social media. “In the past, Lokesh was warned not to take videos and photos of the proceedings in the House. However, he repeated it despite orders from the Chair. When the Ministers tried to tell him, they were attacked both physically and verbally.
