Door Delivery Of YSR Pension Kanuka Begins

AMARAVATI: The distribution of pensions at the doorstep has started on the first day of the month(June). The Andhra Pradesh government has initiated a doorstep delivery scheme, "YSR Pension Kanuka" to end the struggles of the old people who find it difficult to reach out to the pension office.
The distribution of pension has begun from the early hours of Monday. The village volunteers will distribute pensions to a total of 58.22 lakh beneficiaries across the state. The state government has released Rs 1,421.20 crore and 2,37,615 volunteers are engaged in the distribution of pensions. The system of geo-tagging of photos of beneficiaries will be continued for this month as well. A special mobile application is being used for this purpose.
The government of Andhra Pradesh has decided to grant pension within 5 days after the submission of the application. The state government will start the process today. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy promised that all the eligible beneficiaries will get their pensions.
East Godavari: The disbursement of pensions has begun early in the morning in the district. Pensions are being distributed to six and a half lakh people across the district. Pensions are given to the beneficiaries through face index if they face a problem with fingerprints.
West Godavari: The volunteers are distributing pensions to the beneficiaries at their doorsteps. Rs 116.37 lakhs will be distributed among 475,140 beneficiaries across the district. MLA Kottaru Abbayya Chowdary has taken the stock of the situation.
