*YSRCP slams Atchannaidu over derogatory remarks*

Palasa, April 9: YSRCP Doctors Cell President and former minister Seediri Appalaraju strongly criticised Kinjarapu Atchannaidu for his recent comments, calling them offensive and politically motivated. 

Speaking from his residence in Palasa, he released a video to the media and said Atchannaidu was making irresponsible statements to divert attention.

He questioned whether it was Atchannaidu’s intention to provoke YSRCP into alleging that Kinjarapu Yerran Naidu was deliberately killed in a road accident for political gain. He said making such insinuations would only lower the standards of political discourse and create unnecessary controversy.He also alleged that Atchannaidu was using the sudden demise of Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy to target YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and damage his image.

Appalaraju said that making such remarks to please N. Chandrababu Naidu was unacceptable. He added that leaders should maintain dignity in public discourse and avoid making baseless allegations. He warned that YSRCP would not tolerate attempts to malign its leadership.
He further said that such diversion politics was being used whenever the Telugu Desam Party faced political challenges. He accused TDP leaders of neglecting the interests of North Andhra and supporting Amaravati at the cost of regional development.
