YSRCP MLA Kotam Reddy Arrested In Nellore

Nellore: A huge ruckus broke out at the Nellore Rural MLA office on Saturday after YSR Congress party MLA Kotam Reddy Sridhar Reddy was arrested by the police.

A case has been registered against the Kotham Reddy for questioning against the illegal cases being filed against the YSRCP party activists.

Previously, the YSRCP activists handed over the people who were indulging in deletion of votes in the pretext of surveys, to the police. However, the police instead of registering cases against the accused filed cases against the YSRCP activists.

Raising objection to the action taken by the police, Kotam Reddy demanded the release of the YSRCP activists and launched a protest. The police officials, in response, arrested Kotam Reddy for allegedly accusing the police. He was later shifted to the Aido Nagar police station.
