Anatapuram/Hindupur: Sathya Sai District YSRCP President & Former Minister Ushashri Charan strongly condemned the brutal attack on the YSRCP party office in Hindupur, calling it an outrageous assault on democracy and a clear reflection of the lawlessness encouraged under the TDP leadership.
Hindupur YSRCP Coordinator T.N. Deepika, stated that TDP goons vandalised the office, destroyed sacred idols and the photo of saint-poet Kanakadasa, and displayed shocking disregard for the divine and for democratic norms. The attackers stormed the office after learning that Venu Reddy had stepped out and violently targeted booth committee leader Lokesh, tearing his shirt and threatening to kill him. Deepika questioned how such an incident could take place in the constituency represented by sitting MLA Balakrishna. She asserted that YSRCP cadres will not be cowed by TDP hooliganism, reminding that under Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s governance, not a single politically motivated attack occurred as he always upheld peaceful democratic conduct.
Anantapur District YSRCP President Ananta Venkatrami Reddy condemned the attack, calling it a “Black Day for democracy.” He demanded that TDP leaders explain their reckless and aggressive behaviour and questioned Chandrababu Naidu on whether such lawlessness represents his vision of governance. He stated that the violent assault is undeniable proof of the severe collapse of law and order in Andhra Pradesh under the current regime.
They reaffirmed that YSRCP will not be intimidated by threats or violence. They stated that the party will continue to stand firmly with the people, raise public issues fearlessly, and resist TDP-sponsored rowdyism with full democratic strength.
