YSRCP condemns govt’s conspiracy to obstruct YS Jagan's tour

Nellore, July 30: YSRCP strongly condemned the coalition government's misuse of police to obstruct former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s visit on Thursday. 
Addressing the media, YSRCP General Secretary SV Satish Kumar Reddy and MLC Parvathareddy Chandrasekhar Reddy exposed Chandrababu Naidu’s conspiracy to suppress democracy by issuing notices to over 2,000 citizens and intimidating women leaders at midnight to block YS Jagan’s meeting with party leaders and jailed former minister Kakani Govardhan Reddy.
The coalition’s tactics signal vindictive politics in peaceful Nellore, with denied helipad permissions and threats to seize vehicles. “This is demonic rule,” said Satish Kumar Reddy. “Chandrababu aims to stop YS Jagan’s public connection, but no conspiracy can halt the people’s support.” The district SP’s leave amid ruling party pressure underscores these coercive tactics.
The leaders criticized the coalition’s undemocratic actions, citing TDP goons’ attack on Nallapureddy Prasanna Kumar Reddy’s house, where police failed to act. “Are we in a democracy?” asked Satish Kumar Reddy, noting false cases against YSRCP workers in Guntur, Podili, Sattenapalli, and Bangarupalyam, and against Sakshi channel for raising public issues. 
MLC Chandrasekhar Reddy affirmed, “No restrictions can stop YS Jagan’s popularity. The coalition’s harassment of supporters will fail.” YSRCP vows the visit will proceed and urges Nellore’s people to unite against this assault on their rights.
