Tadepalli, March 8: YSRCP has strongly condemned Chandrababu Naidu and his friendly media for spreading canards against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with false stories and allegations.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, former minister Perni Venkataramaiah (Nani) said that the death of YS Vivekananda Reddy’s watchman Rangayya is being politicized and attempts are being made to falsely implicate our Party leadership.
Chandrbabu Naidu has been using his friendly media as a tool spread false stories which has been his wont and this time he has done nothing different and people are aware of his template, he said adding the leak that the death of watchman was discussed in the cabinet was spun only as a diversion tactics as the coalition has failed on all fronts.
He carried out such a false campaign against Lakshmi Parvathi as well earlier and he has been using the media for character assassination of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as diversion tactics. The only motive of Chadnababu seems to be to sling mud at our leadership using his friendly media, he said.
Besides Rangayya, the other two persons Narayana Yadav and Gangadhar Reddy died due to known causes and Chandrbabu Naidu has been trying to eke out political mileage out of everything by using his media as a tool, he said. The former, driver of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the stories falsely spread by Chandrbabu and his media say is a witness while Gangadhar Reddy is A 243 in the Viveka’s case.
They have been writing about the persons related to Paritala Ravi murder case unmindful of the fact that between 2014-19 Chandarbabu was Chief Minister and Paritala Sunita was a minister. Why was no investigation done, if they had any doubts.
All this boils down to only one thing which is spread falsehood to character assassinate our leadership to divert the people’s attention and cover up the coalition government’s failures, he said.
