*YS Jagan seeks intensified search for missing Visakhapatnam fishermen*

Tadepalli, July 5: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed deep concern over the disappearance of seven fishermen who ventured into the sea from the Visakhapatnam Fishing Harbour. He said it was distressing that the fishing boat failed to return due to technical problems and communication with the crew had been lost, leaving their families in extreme anxiety.
Y.S. Jagan urged the State government to intensify the search operation by ensuring close coordination among the Indian Coast Guard, Navy, and Marine Police. He called for the deployment of additional vessels and helicopters, if necessary, to locate and rescue the missing fishermen at the earliest.
He also appealed to the government to extend immediate support to the affected families and keep them regularly informed about the progress of the search operations. Assuring that the YSR Congress Party would stand firmly with the families during this difficult time, Y.S. Jagan directed YSRCP leaders in the Visakhapatnam region to remain in touch with them, coordinate with the authorities, and provide all necessary assistance. He prayed for the safe return of the missing fishermen.
