YS Jagan Honours Poll Promises To Farmers

Amaravati: Honouring the poll promise he made to the farmers in the state, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has announced that the Rythu Bharosa programme will kick-start on October 15.

As per the Rythu Bharosa scheme, a farmer will get Rs 12,500 as investment each year for a period of four years. The authorities have been directed to ensure that the farmers are provided with the minimum support price and that all action is done in good faith.

Asserting to stand by the farmers, YS Jagan said that the government will put in place Rs 3,000 crores in the budget without incurring any losses to the farmers in the state.
