TDP encouraging online abuse against women

YSR Congress Party spokesperson Shyamala
Tadepalli, April 11: YSR Congress Party spokesperson Shyamala strongly condemned the coordinated online abuse of women by anti social elements associated with the TDP and Janasena. She stated that TDP has nurtured these anti-social elements, comparing them to jackals, who are targeting women with degrading content online.
Shyamala questioned the selective application of law, asking why those regularly posting derogatory content have not been arrested. She criticized the arrest of one individual, Chebrolu Kiran, as a staged drama, especially when he reportedly named Chandrababu Naidu and Lokesh, yet no action was taken against them.
She further slammed Home Minister Anita for making offensive remarks about the YS Jagan family without facing any legal consequences. “If there is true intent, why hasn’t action been taken against all those spreading hate, including leaders?” she asked.
Citing the rise in crimes against women, Shyamala accused leaders like Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan of indulging in political theatrics while ignoring public safety. She condemned Pawan Kalyan, lokesh and Chandrababu, for their derogatory comments and noted that their followers, under the “iTDP" banner, continue to spread venom on social media.
Despite repeated complaints by YSRCP leaders, she said police are turning a blind eye. “What is the Home Minister doing? “How many victims has she met or offered support to?” she questioned.
Revealing that she too has been viciously trolled, Shyamala concluded that Andhra Pradesh today is not governed by people-first policies but by anarchy, ullegalities, atrocities, and debt.
