Spurious liquor at the cost of public health

Anantapur, Oct 18:   YSRCP has reiterated that that the coalition leaders are running spurious liquor mafia and making money at the cost of public health.
Speaking to media here on Saturday, former minister Sake Sailajanath has said that spurious liquor has been flowing across the state and public health is at risk.
During YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s term there were no illegal liquor outlets (belt shops) but now they have mushroomed and all those arrested on spurious liquor case belong to the ruling party.
Spurious liquor has become a cottage industry in the state and the liquor racket has been well oiled with everyone getting the due share.
This is the reason why the case is not being pursued and the truth will come out only if is handled by central agencies, he said adding that people lost belief over SIT as it is acting at the behest of the government.
There is every attempt to implicate YSRCP leaders in the liquor case and Jogi Ramesh name is being dragged with vendetta.
He also slammed Lokesh and Pawan Kumar for their conduct and having failed in handling their respective ministries. The privatization of government hospitals will adversely affect the poor, he said.
