Roja slams vendetta against Sakshi

Nagari, June 10: YSRCP leader RK Roja criticised Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu of orchestrating a conspiracy to silence Sakshi media through targeted attacks and the wrongful arrest of journalist Kommineni Srinivasa Rao on fabricated charges.
“The TDP, backed by Nara Lokesh, Pawan Kalyan, and Sharmila’s remarks, is stifling press freedom to hide its failures,” Roja declared in a fiery press meet, condemning the government’s assault on dissent.
Roja slammed the TDP’s “Red Book” governance for shielding perpetrators while crimes against women soar, citing the rape and murder of a minor in Nagari and the gang rape of a 14-year-old SC girl in Raptadu.
“The Home Minister’s failure to protect women is shameful; she must resign, as must Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan for his silence,” she demanded.
Roja accused Naidu, Balakrishna, and Lokesh of disrespecting women, demanding apologies for their derogatory remarks, and criticized the government for protecting TDP-affiliated culprits, including MLA Bandaru Satyanarayana and Speaker Ayyanna Patrudu.
She highlighted Sakshi’s role in exposing scams, like Amaravati’s real estate fraud, making it a target of TDP’s vendetta.
“TDP’s yellow media spreads lies to defame YSRCP, but we’ll fight back,” Roja vowed, alleging social media manipulation against YS Jagan and his family. Calling for accountability, she urged the public to resist oppression.
“YSRCP stands with the people. We demand justice and will not be silenced,” she asserted, pledging to protect press freedom and women’s safety.
