YS Jagan is a uniquely visionary leader said Rajesh Adan

HCM of AP Jagan, state ministers, MPs, MLAs, guests and friends. Warm Welcome to this foundation stone laying ceremony of the Vizag integrated data centre and Tech business park. HCM, you’re a uniquely visionary leader, in a uniquely gifted state of our country. The best testimony of your execution ability is the amazing 70% GDP growth that AP state achieved last year. And you’re doing this without compromising on social welfare. Your flagship social initiave like the grama sachivalayam, for decentralising governance. And your nine dimension Navaratnalu schemes to ensure welfare for all, are benchmarks that every state can learn from. HCM, our investment in AP, span multiple sectors including Port, Logistics and renewable energy. Having already invested over Rs 20,000 Cr, our businesses have created 20,000 direct and 55,000 indirect jobs in the state. We operate two of the largest private ports in the state – Krishnapatnam and Gangavaram. And we further committed to developed 15000MW of renewable power and 10 billion tons per annum of cement manufacturing capacity. HCM we live in a world being defined by our ability to generate, store and access and move data. With advancement in AI, high definition content and massive digitisation, there’s a need to compute and storage is increasing exponentially. And Andhra is placed uniquely given the geographical advantage of land for renewable energy and its long coastline. I therefore believe that, Andhra could not only host data centre park for our country but also host other global data centres, especially for those nations that are short of land and energy. This international data centre would act as a digital embassy and connected  through a network of undersea cables coming from South-East Asia and landing in proximity to ports in the state. In today’s sustainability focused world, every data centre needs to be powered by renewable energy. Therefore the added advantage that the Adani group brings is our ability to procure green power, which is a must for attracting energy hungry data centres. What we bring through our ports, data centres and green energy capability is a unique combination of unmatched strategic adjacencies in the data centre world. The total investment proposed for 300MW data centres will be more than Rs 22,000 Cr and all delivered in a span of 7 years following necessary approvals. Based on our discussion with various of our partners, we also believe that the Adani Group and its partners are ina  unique position to further develop on your concept of data centre-based business park, along with work concept. This integrated approach can help create thousands of new jobs. The possibility is endless and Visakhapatnam holds to become the data centre capital not just for our country but for pan-Asia region.
