People losing patience with TDP's ‘Dirty Party’

Tadepalli, August 22: YSRCP Guntur Parliamentary observer Potina Mahesh strongly condemned the anarchic conduct of TDP ministers and MLAs, branding the Telugu Desam Party as a “dirty party” that has lost the trust of the people. He said every act of TDP legislators and ministers over the last 15 months has been marked by corruption, lawlessness, and indecency, yet Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu continues to protect them instead of ensuring accountability.
Mahesh questioned why Naidu has failed to act against his own MLAs and ministers despite mounting evidence of serious misconduct. “Has Chandrababu arrested even a single MLA or minister who unleashed anarchy in the last 15 months? Has he ordered inquiries or suspended anyone? The answer is no,” he asserted. He cited a series of recent incidents: TDP MLA Budda Rajasekhara Reddy’s attack on forest officials, Achchennaidu’s involvement in commission dealings, Home Minister Anitha and two MLAs recommending parole for rowdy-sheeter Srikanth, MLA Naseer’s harassment driving a woman to attempt suicide, and MLA Kuna Ravikumar’s harassment of a woman professor. “In every case, Naidu remained silent, while his yellow media covered up the crimes with empty scrolls,” Mahesh charged.
He further pointed out that victims approaching the police are now being punished with counter-cases, highlighting the collapse of rule of law under the TDP regime. “When a TDP MLA hurled abuses at Jr. NTR, did Naidu take action? When forest officials were attacked, why was Pawan Kalyan silent? This government has reduced governance to patronage of criminals and suppression of victims,” Mahesh said.
Calling Naidu the “mastermind behind the Red Book attacks and widespread lawlessness,” Mahesh reminded the public that neither Chandrababu nor his ally Pawan Kalyan has stood by the people in times of crisis, whether in the Sugali Preethi case or the struggle to protect Vizag Steel Plant. “For Naidu, only his political and business interests matter; for Pawan, it is mere opportunism. The people’s issues have no place in their agenda,” he added.
Mahesh declared that Chandrababu’s regime is nothing short of a “demonic rule” and warned that the people are preparing to teach both Naidu and his allies a fitting lesson. “The time has come for citizens to end this cycle of anarchy and exploitation. The people’s verdict will soon bring justice,” he said.
