Tadepalli, Aug 7: YSRCP has affirmed that Chandrababu’s tone and tenor stem out of the scare of seeing the growing popularity of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, and even the cabinet meeting has been discussing the same instead of people’s issues.
Speaking to the media here on Friday, former minister Kurasala Kannababu said Chandrababu’s frustration is being vented out by calling the political opponents names, and it is an outcome of the immense popularity YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is getting during his recent tours.
Chandrababu’s tone and tenor clearly establish his frustration, and his calling YSRCP names only shows how scared he is. He questioned why no security was provided to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy during his recent visits to Devarapalli and Srikakulam. The deliberate attempt shows that there is a threat to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
The remarks that people are being gathered for YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tour are totally false, and it is the fan base that our leader has and his governance and welfare measures that brought a huge following. The coalition leaders calling Gen Z a ganja batch is nothing short of insulting one full generation, he said.
In the cabinet, the irrigation issues of Polavaram and the concerns over the increasing height of the Almatti dam and such issues of public importance were not discussed, but the PPP model was discussed, which aims to privatize all sectors, barring governance. More irksome is the fact that it had given clearance for viability gap funding.
While Chandrababu is giving interest-free loans to corporates and industrialists, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had given such loans to women groups and weaker sections. The contrast can be seen in the swelling crowds during YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s tours.
Withdrawing the Disha Bill only shows that the government has no concern for women’s safety, and the law and order situation has been deteriorating. The incident of TDP leaders and cadre attacking YSRCP leaders who were protesting, demanding a CBI probe into the DSC irregularities, only shows the level of intolerance of the coalition leaders.
People have by now realized their mistake in voting for the coalition and are ready to teach it a fitting lesson, he said.
