NTR’s name used for diversion politics

Hyderabad, Jan 18:YSR Congress Party State General Secretary Nandamuri Lakshmi Parvathi said Chandrababu Naidu has made a habit of resorting to politics in the name of NTR whenever his own credibility declines, and that the current hype around an NTR statue is also diversion politics. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, she said Chandrababu announced an NTR statue at Neerukonda as far back as 2014 but failed to build it while surrounding lands were allegedly cornered, and questioned his sincerity. She appealed to NTR fans to recognise Chandrababu’s betrayals and demanded that if he truly respected NTR, he should secure the Bharat Ratna for him, withdraw the privatisation of medical colleges, and complete pending public works.
Lakshmi Parvathi demanded that BJP leaders respond to what she described as the continuing misrule of Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, and said she would also write to Prime Minister Modi. She accused Chandrababu of damaging the State’s reputation through activities like gambling, cockfights and casinos, and warned that the “red book” style of governance being pursued by Nara Lokesh would ultimately recoil on Chandrababu himself. She said NTR fans must recall Chandrababu’s past actions, including attempts to erase NTR’s name from Aarogyasri, and asserted that history would never forget the betrayal inflicted on NTR.
Stating that an honest person would face cases in courts instead of trying to erase them through power, she accused Chandrababu of cheating all sections of society after coming to power on false promises and of prioritising personal enrichment over public welfare. She said people had recognised these deceptions and were determined to bring YS Jagan Mohan Reddy back as Chief Minister, recalling that he delivered both welfare and development with integrity. Referring to the killing of YSRCP activist Manda Salman, she called it a shocking reflection of the present situation and announced that she would seek the Prime Minister’s intervention. She asserted that once YSRCP returns to power, a comprehensive inquiry into the alleged atrocities of Chandrababu and Lokesh would be conducted and those responsible would be punished according to law.
