Former Minister and East Godavari YSRCP President, Chelluboina Venu Gopala Krishna
Rajamahendravaram, Feb 17: Former Minister and East Godavari YSRCP President, Chelluboina Venu Gopala Krishna, held a press conference where he criticized the current political climate in the state. He claimed that the present government poses a threat to civil society, turning complainants into accused. Chandrababu Naidu is practicing politics based on conspiracies and deceit, attempting to forcibly capture local bodies despite lacking power. TDP is buying leaders against the will of the people.
"Chandrababu Naidu is a prime example of political horse-trading," he said, citing Naidu's involvement in the 'cash-for-vote' scandal. He also criticized Naidu for abandoning the unified capital promise and failing to secure assets worth Rs. 1.1 lakh crore from Telangana.
Venu Gopala Krishna highlighted Naidu’s false propaganda when in opposition, claiming the state was sinking into debt, while his government ignored welfare schemes. He further accused Naidu of failing to implement a single flagship program smoothly during his tenure.
He also took a shot at Pawan Kalyan for his silence on issues like acid attacks on women and criticized his inefficiency and failure to address the state's issues.
"Naidu’s narrow self-interest has only deepened the state’s woes," he said.
