Land scams, harassment, and collapse of investor confidence under Naidu rule

Visakhapatnam, Sept 28:Former Minister Gudivada Amarnath launched a scathing attack on the coalition government and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, exposing blatant lies about industrial growth, large-scale corruption in land allotments, and the exodus of industries due to harassment.
Speaking to media here on Sunday, Amarnath said industries have been crippled in the last 16 months under coalition misrule, with industrialists fleeing the state in fear of commissions, extortion, and mafia-style threats from ruling party leaders. He condemned Chandrababu’s “Super Six” promises as half-implemented stunts, comparable to celebrating a flop movie as a 100-day success. Schemes like unemployment allowance and girl child support were never delivered, and yet false claims are made.
He detailed shocking cases of harassment: JSW Steel in Kadapa forced out after personal attacks on its promoter Jindal; UltraTech and Dalmia cement plants intimidated for raw material contracts; Adani’s Krishnapatnam and Ramayapatnam port projects exploited for commissions; prominent industrialist Govindappa Balaji jailed on false cases; UB factory in North Andhra extorted monthly bribes by BJP MLAs; Palnadu cement plants threatened by coalition leaders. These, he said, show governance has collapsed into open extortion.
Amarnath exposed massive land scams: newly floated shell company “Ursa Cluster,” incorporated just months ago, was gifted land worth nearly Rs. 2,000 crore in Visakhapatnam at throwaway prices. Real estate firms like Sattva and Kapil were given prime land under the guise of IT parks, while Lulu – shutting branches abroad – was allotted land worth thousands of crores. Government industrial parks are being lined up for privatization, he added.
He reminded that real industrial progress came under YSRCP: NTPC Green Hydrogen Hub at Achyutapuram, three new ports, an international airport, 10 fishing harbors, 17 government medical colleges, and major MoUs with TCS, Panasonic, Daikin, and Blue Star. Chandrababu is now shamelessly claiming these as his achievements.
Amarnath also condemned Balakrishna’s derogatory remarks against Megastar Chiranjeevi, noting that while fans across the state protested, Chiranjeevi’s own brothers Pawan Kalyan and Nagendra Babu remained silent, exposing their double standards.
He concluded that Andhra Pradesh today faces industrial collapse, rampant corruption, and loss of investor confidence under coalition misrule, not progress as falsely claimed by Chandrababu.
