Industrialist Raghurama Krishnam Raju Joins YSRCP

Hyderabad: A prominent industrialist and senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) from West Godavari district, Raghurama Krishnam Raju met YSRCP Congress Party (YSRCP) Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at his residence Lotus Pond in Hyderabad on Sunday.

After talking to YS Jagan, Raghurama Krishnam Raju officially joined the party in the presence of senior YSRCP leader and Rajya Sabha MP V Vijayasai  Reddy.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, he said that only YS Jagan was capable of fulfilling the promises made during the bifurcation period. He said that he had been an ardent follower of late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy and that YS Jagan was his close friend. Raghurama also hoped for YS Jagan to become the next Chief Minister and he said that not only him even the neutral influencers and intellectuals were hoping that he would be the next CM.

He also said that he would work for the overall development of the state and joining the party felt like homecoming.
