Guntur, June 16: Former Minister Ambati Rambabu stated that the collation government is conspiring to create trouble during the ensuing visit of former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to Rentapalla on June 18 and are putting unheard of restrictions and conditions.
Speaking to media here on Monday, he said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is only visiting Rentapalla to console the family members of party worker Nagamalleswara Rao, who committed suicide unable to bear the police harassment and the police are now imposing various conditions with the intention to discourage the tour.
The way police are behaving gives an impression that police may not allow YS Jagan outside on that day and the Party leader visiting the cadre’s house on compassionate grounds is a natural task and we are not organising any public meeting but only going to console the bereaved family members, he said.
At Podili as well farmers are being harassed with false cases.
It is the responsibility of the police to make security arrangements and maintain law and order but it is not proper to impose restrictions on YS Jagan tour, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh are conspiring to create law and order problem during the visit and we warn the duo not to misuse the power and we cannot be cowed down by such meek threats.
