*Glitches in SIR process; extend deadline by one month: YSRCP*

*Tadepalli, July 10:* Reiterating its demand to extend the SIR process by one more month, YSRCP has said that there are many glitches in the process with the coalition government mounting pressure on officials and collecting data in advance.

Speaking to media here on Friday, Party MLC Lella Appi Reddy said, the ruling party leaders are forcing the officials to first upload the data in the MyTDP app before sending it to the Election Commission office, and every effort is being put to heckle democracy, making the Election Commission redundant in the State.

Elected representatives, Ministers and even PAs of the ruling party are threatening BLOs to first upload the data in their party app before sending it to the Election Office, and when a BLO went to lodge a complaint at a police station, it was not accepted and there was pressure not to go ahead with the complaint.

We have complained to the Election Commission on the irregularities and will again give a representation besides exploring legal options as well.

The enumeration process has many irregularities which came to light at Atmakur, Tamballapalle and other places, and the official statement boasting of figures stands no ground.

As our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had pointed out, every eligible voter should be given the opportunity to exercise the franchise, and as the process has been going on at a slow pace and the work at the ground level is not complete, we demand that the process be extended by one more month.

We also demand that the Election Commission use its discretionary powers and check the irregularities. TDP and Chandrababu Naidu have been trying to use every opportunity for political gain even at the cost of democratic values, he said.

There are many duplicate votes to be weeded out, and information is that in Kuppam itself there are 30,000 bogus votes, he added.
