Visakhapatnam, May 30: YSRCP State Official Spokesperson Konda Rajeev Gandhi alleged that the irregularities in the AP DSC recruitment process are bigger than the recent NEET paper leak scam and demanded a CBI inquiry into the entire process. He also demanded the resignation of Education Minister Nara Lokesh.
Speaking to the media at the YSRCP city office in Visakhapatnam on Friday, Konda Rajeev Gandhi said the DSC process under the coalition government had turned into a “Dalaarula Selection Committee” instead of a District Selection Committee. He said lakhs of DSC candidates across Andhra Pradesh were deeply upset over the alleged irregularities and the huge response to YSRCP protests clearly showed the anger among unemployed youth.
He questioned why Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Nara Lokesh and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan were remaining silent despite large-scale protests by candidates. He said if the government truly believes there were no irregularities, it should immediately order a CBI inquiry and prove its honesty.
Konda Rajeev Gandhi alleged that irregularities took place at every stage of the DSC process, including sports quota appointments and the disappearance of the merit list. He also questioned why an outsourcing employee, who reportedly secured State First Rank after working in the section where DSC papers were prepared and uploaded, was later denied a job.
Demanding complete transparency, he asked the government to release district-wise DSC results with hall ticket numbers, marks and quota details. He said Lokesh should resign if he has moral responsibility and face an independent inquiry.
