YSRCP SC Cell Working President Kommoori Kanaka Rao
Tadepalli, March 13: YSRCP SC Cell Working President Kommoori Kanaka Rao sharply criticized Dokka Manikya Varaprasad, branding him a power-hungry opportunist lacking political credibility. Speaking at Tadepalli, Kanaka Rao accused Dokka of making baseless allegations against former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to curry favor with CM Chandrababu Naidu. He labeled Dokka a principle-less leader, notorious for switching parties, starting with Congress, moving to TDP, and oscillating between them to secure positions.
Kanaka Rao highlighted Dokka’s history of betraying parties, including criticizing TDP while in YSRCP, only to forget those remarks in his current pursuit of power. He called Dokka’s recent TV debate attacks on YS Jagan a desperate bid to impress Naidu after failing to gain a coalition government post. Kanaka Rao noted Dokka’s pattern of negotiating with rivals while in a party, citing his TDP MLC role after an MLA loss, followed by betrayals to join YSRCP and later return to TDP. He added that Dokka’s name is in Nara Lokesh’s “Red Book,” implying his efforts to malign YSRCP won’t yield rewards.
Refuting Dokka’s claims against YS Jagan, Kanaka Rao denied financial impropriety in YSRCP, stressing its recognition of Dalits, minorities, and workers. He accused Dokka of projecting TDP’s corruption onto YSRCP and betraying the Madiga community by exploiting his caste without addressing their issues. Rao warned that while Dokka can appease Naidu and Lokesh, attempts to defame YS Jagan will not be tolerated, asserting that the public rejects his rhetoric.
