*Coalition spreading lies on Tirupati laddu issue*

Tadepalli, Feb 9: YSRCP has condemned the coalition government for spreading lies on the Tirupati laddu issue and stated that it will circulate the copy of SIT charge sheet to call the bluff of Chandrababu.
Speaking to media here on Monday former MLA Malladi Vishnu said, the SIT charge sheet has clearly mentioned that there is no animal fat in the ghee used for Tirupati laddu which goes against the claim of Chandrababu, who owes an apology to the devotees.
The report also mentioned that four tankers which were rejected by TTD for being substandard during Chandrababu’s term were brought back and were used in laddu preparation in July 2024. The crux of CBI SIT report is the investigation into the four tankers that came back despite being rejected.
The Bole Baba Company was encouraged by Chandrababu government, he said adding that the coalition has been levelling baseless allegations against YSRCP.
The other allegation levelled against us is that tender norms were relaxed during our term and it was done to improve the quality of the ghee and we did not compromise on any count.
Summarily, the investigation was done by CBI pertains to the period of Chandrababu and he has come out to blame YSRCP. The SIT has been categorical about the dates and was backed by reports of national laboratories which stated that there is no animal fat in the ghee and gave the dates of the ghee supplied which all point the accusing finger towards Chandrababu.
The coalition leaders have become vocal by levelling the same baseless allegations repeatedly, he said and condemned the manner in which posters and banners were erected to degrade the sanctity of Lord Venkateswara Swamy.
He also said that temple lands are being given away on a platter to a favoured few by the TDP and the government has scant respect for devotional matters.
