Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu met Chief Election Commissioner Sunil Arora in Delhi on Saturday and submitted a memorandum alleging that a large number of Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) malfunctioned during polling in the state on Thursday. Chandrababu went on to even criticize the Election Commission for failing to conduct the elections in a fair manner.

YSR Congress spokesperson Kollusu Parthasarathy said that after winning the elections, Chandrababu has never spoken about EVMs adding that it is astonishing to see him talk about the Constitution.

Speaking to the media on Sunday, he questioned whether the EVMs were functioning in the similar way even in the states were Congress won and said that Chandrababu destroyed the constitutional system.

Claiming that the Chief Minister is portaying EVMs to be the factor responsible for his defeat, the YSRCP leader asserted that no matter the number of dramas, Chandrababu puts forth, he can't stop YS Jagan Mohan Reddy from becoming the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
