A Boon To Farmers: Vijayasai Reddy

Amaravati: YSRCP National Secretary V Vijayasai Reddy said that the special budget announced by the Andhra Pradesh government was a big boon to agriculture and the farmers.

Taking to Twitter, the YSRCP leader said that the Rs 29,000 crore budgetary allocations for AP farmers will be bring them out of drought and other crises that they have been facing since a long time.

He lavished praise on YS Jagan stating that the interest-free loans, price stabilisation fund and crop loans for tenant farmers are the schemes that will be etched in history. Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had kept his promises made to the farmers and stayed true to his word, he tweeted.

In another tweet he said that if a farmer was to pass away, his family would be given a sum of Rs 7 lakh as insurance, and this kind of a policy was not in vogue in any of the states in our country, he declared. Through this insurance scheme, YS Jagan has shown his concern for the farmers and ensuring that the farmers’ families don't suffer even if they lose the sole breadwinner of their households.
