The governments in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana were working towards resolving the long-pending birfurcation issues, said AP Deputy chief minister Pilli Subhashchandra Bose. He was replying to question raised by TDP MLA Anagani Satyaprasad. The Deputy CM said that the issues between the Telugu states had remained unresolved as the ties between the CMs of the two states had been far from satisfactory.
He went on to add that with Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his Telangana counterpart taking the first step towards resolving the issues, there had been progress. "Following the meeting between the chief ministers, officials of the two states have met up to identify issues to be sorted out," he said.
Pilli Subhashchandra Bose also tabled a detailed list of issues between the states after bifurcation that needed to be addressed.
