New Delhi, March 12: YSRCP MP P Mithun Reddy said that the coalition government in Andhra Pradesh has been resorting to vindictive politics leaving governance and levelling false allegations against his family and warned that their resolve will further strengthen with every attempt of the state government to target us.
Speaking to media here on Wednesday, he said, TDP has been levelling false allegations against us time and again though their version was proved to be wrong and now they have spun a story involving me in a liquor scam much bigger than that of the Delhi one.
In Delhi the liquor was given to private people while in Andhra Pradesh YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken it from private to the government sector. The coalition is systematically targeting strong people standing with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy but every attempt of theirs would strengthen our resolve to fight back, he said.
Earlier it was the encroachment of forest land story that was floated and the district collector has given his report which acknowledged our version proving the government wrong. They also went on to tell about the files being set ablaze at Madanapalle office but nothing has come true. We have been contending that the records would be available at all concerned offices of Revenue Department but they have arrested and harassed an employee of the mandal office and his mother had told media that her son had done nothing wrong.
They also told about hundred of mines being controlled by our family but could not prove a single allegations. The State has left governance to winds and has been pursuing vindictive politics but we will fight back with renewed vigour, he said.
During the previous term of TDP as well they have filed a false case against me and sent to jail and the charges were proved to be wrong, he added.
