*Accept the CBI probe, Lokesh: MLC Dr Arun Kumar*

Tadepalli, August 22: YSRCP MLC Dr Mondithoka Arun Kumar challenged Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and Education Minister Nara Lokesh to order a CBI investigation into both DSC-2025 and APPSC, saying the government could not demand probes into APPSC while refusing independent scrutiny of DSC.

He said the government must explain how 372 Sports Quota teacher posts were filled without a regular examination, why rules and Government Orders were repeatedly changed, how questionable participation certificates were accepted, and how a person working in the question-paper system secured Rank 1. “You may change GOs, but you cannot change the questions being asked by unemployed youth,” he said.

Arun Kumar said Lokesh spoke at length in the Assembly where YSRCP was absent, but failed to answer DSC questions in the Legislative Council. “Lokesh was present in the Council on two of the four sitting days, yet he did not answer our questions. Why could he not present the same PowerPoint presentation before the Opposition in the Council?” he asked.

He said Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had already challenged the government to order CBI probes into both DSC and APPSC. “If you believe the recruitments were transparent, accept the challenge,” he said, demanding that Lokesh take moral responsibility and resign.
Arun Kumar also questioned the silence of BJP and Jana Sena, asking why coalition partners who speak of accountability were not demanding a probe into DSC. Calling the government a “double-engine scam government,” he said YSRCP would continue fighting alongside unemployed youth until a CBI investigation was ordered and justice delivered.

He further criticised the government’s double standards on law and order, citing ganja trafficking and cases involving coalition leaders’ families, and said the law must apply equally to everyone.
