People from all walks of life listening to speakers at 'Chaitanya Patham’
Madanapally, June 8,
2013: People of different walks of life expressed their ire at CBI for the
prolonged detention of YSR Congress Chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and opined
that both Congress and TDP would pay a heavy price in the next elections for
their conspiracy against him.
Expressing their
opinions at a ‘Chaitanya Patham’ meeting conducted by the Sakshi daily here on Friday, people opined that Sri Jagan Mohan
Reddy is in the hearts of millions of people though he has been incarcerated
for more than one year.
College lecturers,
trade union leaders, home makers, farmers, teachers, retired officials, former
ZTPC members, youth leaders, workers and students participated in the meeting
and chastised TDP and Congress for using CBI as a political tool and sending
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to jail.

People’s opinion on incarceration of Jagan

Most
of the speakers are unanimous in their view that the CBI case against the YSRCP
chief is a politically motivated one and has been the result of a conspiracy
between TDP and Congress. “It is not Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy who was kept in the
jail but is the people’s dreams that were imprisoned,” they opined.
The participants warned
both Congress and TDP that people would teach them a fitting lesson silently by
exercising their franchise against them in the next elections.
The speakers felt the
continued jailing of the YSRCP chief is a clear violation of his fundamental
rights. “Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy is a rising sun and despite the incarceration,
he will continue to grow into a major political force.”
