Free medical camp organized for the deaf

Giddaluru,(Prakasam Dt) Feb 19, 2013: At a medical
camp organized at Giddaluru in Prakasam district on Sunday under the auspices
of YSRCP NRI wing as part of the party’s social responsibility, doctors
conducted free medical tests for 217 deaf persons.

Venkat Madapati said that those who underwent medical tests in the camp
included 187 children under the age of 15 years and 30 aged persons. While 32
of them were given hearing machines free of cost, the party NRI wing has made
arrangements to conduct free operations to 20 persons with a cost of around
Rs.15 lakh.
Stating that they are
conducting free medical camps taking inspiration from YSR, Venkat said they
have so far treated 1000 deaf students in the state with the coordination of
NGO Sahi which also organized the Giddaluru medical camp.
Besides Venkat, YSRCP leaders
Dr. Chereddy Rangareddy, industrialist Chereddy Ramamohana Reddy, Chennu Vijaya,
Manam Venkata Reddy, Dr JV Brahmam, Ramana Reddy, Dasari Prasad, Shaik Subani, Bhaskara
Reddy, Sahi secretary Dr.Rambabu and Dr. EC Vinay Kamar attended the camp.
