Chandrababu Bars CBI To Escape From Corruption Cases

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu's fresh decision of barring the central investigating agency - CBI from entering the state raised eyebrows. Intellectuals and policy makers took strong exception to the Chandrababu's resolution to not allow the independent investigating agency to visit the state without his permission.

It was Chandrababu who exploited central intelligence agencies for his political gains during his hey days when he maintained cordial relations with the centre.  In collision with the union government,  the TDP Chief used the CBI at his own wish as if the agency is  household property and also foisted cases against YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

After the relations with BJP led NDA strained,  Chandrababu started criticising the CBI and other central investigating agencies in a fear that the agencies will unravel corrupt practices in his government. Corruption is visible  In every sector including in the utilisation of central funds in Andhra government.

The fresh episode of attack on Jagan at Vizag airport was also haunting Chandrababu who frightened he will be fixed in the case if High court orders CBI probe in the attack case.

Anticipating all his misdeeds will be exposed if CBI plunged into the action,  the Chief Minister imposed restrictions on the movement of CBI in Andhra.  The agency officials will not be allowed to visit the state  without his government's prior permission.
