Andhra Minister Stirs Up Faction Politics
07 Jun 2018 11:00 AM

Andhra Pradesh Minister Adinarayana Reddy and his family members are encouraging faction politics in Rayalaseema region particularly in YSR Kadapa district. The recent incident of attack on YSR Congress leader and MP Avinash Reddy and party workers was a clear indication of promotion of faction politics by the minister.
Fortunately, In the attack at Peddadandlur village in Jammalamadugu Assembly Constituency, YS Avinash Reddy escaped unhurt and some YSR Congress workers received serious injuries. Cases were also booked against Adinarayana Reddy wife Aruna and son Sudhir Reddy. The ultimatum issued by the minister that no outsider will be allowed to visit his constituency without his nod gave a clear indication of revival of faction politics. Victims already lodged complaints with police against the minister's wife and son under SC, ST atrocities prevention act. But,no action was taken so far.
The minister's son was already given the post of Chairman of Jammalamadugu government hospital, who already swindled
Public money. Earlier, the minister also made some derogatory comments against dalits and invited public wrath in Andhra.
On the other hand, rivalry between Adinarayana Reddy and other TDP leader and MLA Rama Subba Reddy reached to the peak. The attacks on each other already claimed many lives.
