Conspiracy to harm jagan, YSRC demand judicial probe: June 21,2012

Hyderabad, June 21: YSR Congress Party demands a high level probe by a sitting Supreme Court judge to look into the recent developments which clearly point out that there is deep-rooted conspiracy to physically harm Party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
The conspiracy, hatched by vested interests, was ripped open with the barrage of telephone calls of a CBI official added to the sudden power cut at Chanchalguda jail and the ultra-high level security while he was been taken to jail added to the spark of taking him to court in an ordinary police van which preceded a shoddy investigation in to Jagan’s case.
Service Rules of CBI emphatically say that it cannot talk to media directly and any press release should be circulated through Press Information Bureau (PIB), but there have been mutual calls between people belonging to a section of media and CBI Joint Director and frequency of calls between March and June 2012 was dense enough raising questions over the sanctity of the investigation agency as it was the time during which YS Jaganmohan Reddy case was being probed.
Our Party has been contending that there is an innate conspiracy by political and business rivals to defame and harm YS Jaganmohan Reddy and it was evident ever since he began the Odarpu Yatra.
Of late the volley of phone calls CBI Joint Director, VV Lakshminarayana had made and received with adversaries of Sakshi media house among others raises many doubts and our Party will cooperate and provide the full details of the phone calls, the duration and frequency to the Inquiry Commission headed by a sitting Supreme Court Judge.
We also believe that the phones of all our main leaders have been tapped and the information is passed on to political opponents by the CBI, a fact which should also form the terms of reference in the Inquiry. All 17 MLAs of the Party have staged a protest against the unholy nexus between Congress, TDP, CBI and a section of media at the Assembly premises.
Congress and TDP joined hands in filing a case against YS Jaganmohan Reddy and nexus is still continuing and was seen in Ramachandrapuram and Narsapuram by-polls where TDP has transferred tis votes to Congress to defeat YSRC. The two parties have been losing support at the ground level very fast.
After it became obvious that people’s court has given a verdict in favour of YS Jaganmohan Reddy vested interests have resorted to other means. The black-out at Chanchalguda jail is just a tip of the ice-berg and we do not know how many attempts to harm YS Jaganmohan Reddy have failed earlier and how many more are yet to come. Be it in the name of narco-analysis test or by other means, the nexus has been trying to play mind games using all the resources at its command.
CBI is certainly not performing as a professional agency but is found wanting on many occasions and on many more occasions, it was acting as a political tool and on umpteen occasions has compromised with the section of media which is competitor to Sakshi.
To bring out the conspiracy and expose the nexus of Congress, TDP, CBI and a section of media and thorough probe should be ordered to bring out the facts.
