- Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress at G.Venkatapuram
Visakhapatnam (Makavarapalem): People are questioning if welfare means doing injustice to the eligible. When Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme was held at G.Venkatapuram panchayat by YSRCP's convener of Narsipatnam constituency, Petla Uma Sankar Ganesh, people showed great response to the programme.
Uma Sankar handed over copies of Praja Ballot to people and collected the score offered by them to the Government. Villagers stated to him that pensions of eligible candidates had been withdrawn intentionally by Janmabhoomi Committees and taking it to the notice of officials had yielded little result. They also criticised that not even one house had been built as promised, in the three-year TDP rule.
Speaking on this occasion, Uma Sankar condemned the hardship causing by the Government to eligible beneficiaries of welfare schemes. He cautioned that people facing loss under TDP rule would soon teach it a lesson.
Also participating in this programme were mandal party president, R. Satyanarayana, presidents of Narsipatnam and Golugonda mandals Surla Satyanarayana, Rayapureddy Nageswara Rao, district secretary Chitikela Ramana, party leaders Petla Bhadrachalam, Varri Patrudu, Lakkaraju Rajarao, Bandaru Gandhi, Sabbavarapu Govinda, Datla Narsimha Raju, Penatakota Srinu and other activists.
