*Sunil Yadav arrest exposes coalition’s politics of vendetta*

Eluru, June 19: YSRCP leaders termed the arrest of Eluru Parliamentary Constituency In-charge Karumuri Sunil Kumar Yadav a clear act of political vendetta aimed at silencing the opposition and diverting public attention from the failures of the coalition government. Addressing the media at the party district office in Eluru, District President Doolam Nageswara Rao, Eluru In-charge Jayaprakash, former Unguturu MLA Puppala Vasubabu, and Chintalapudi In-charge Kambham Vijayaraju said false liquor cases and illegal arrests have become tools to target YSRCP leaders and suppress voices questioning the government.
The leaders stated that Sunil Yadav, a prominent BC youth leader, was targeted to halt his political growth and weaken the family of former minister Karumuri Nageswara Rao. They said the arrest is part of diversion politics to shift focus from issues such as the DSC-2025 controversy, the Sai Krishna custodial death, Kranti Kumar’s suicide, the Tuni missing child case, and other governance failures.
They asserted that intimidation through arrests, summons, and fabricated cases cannot weaken YSRCP or its cadre and demanded impartial investigations based on evidence rather than political motives. The leaders also criticised the government for failing to address key issues affecting farmers, youth, and the public while resorting to repression against the opposition. They affirmed that YSRCP, under the leadership of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, will continue to stand with Sunil Yadav and intensify its fight for public causes despite attempts to silence the party
