Nellore: Nellore Urban MLA Dr. P. Anil Kumar Yadav, along with Nellore Municipal Corporation's Deputy Mayor, Mukkala Dwarakanath and the Corporator of the 9th division of Nellore city, Damavarapu Rajasekhar, held Gadapagadapaku YSR Congress programme in Bangla Thota and Yalamalavaridinne areas.
Speaking on this occasion, Anil Kumar Yadav criticised the government's negligence to the people's hardship as a result of demonetisation. He slammed the double entendre of the ruling party leaders regarding the issue. Mentioning the announcement that employees could draw Rs.10,000 from banks, he stated that nowhere except in certain private banks, money more than Rs.4000 was being given. He questioned how livelihood could be possible in such a situation. He criticised Chandrababu-supporting channels for telecasting that Rs.2000 crore money was brought to the banks and distributed.
Anil Kumar suggested that pensioners should be sent money directly. Calling demonetisation an act of vengeance of Chandrababu and Modi on people, he slammed TDP's Jana Chaitanya Yatras as desperate attempt of fake publicity. He commented that Chandrababu's decisions were benefiting only corporate institutions.
