Pitapuram, Sept 26, 2012: YSR Congress activists held a huge rickshaw rally at Pitapuram in East Godavari district opposing the hike in RTC bus charges.
Party local leaders led the rickshaw rally from the party office as hundreds of activists and people followed. People came on to the streets to witness the rally and expressed their solidarity with the party. Later, they held a demonstration in front of the bus stand.
Party leader and former MLA P. Dora Babu led the rally and addressed the gathering. He said the Government has no moral right to continue in power.
“The parties which do not care for the people’s welfare will be ousted from power and the Congress will be shown the door in the next elections,” he said.
