Good Friday reflects Jesus Christ’s Supreme Sacrifice for Humanity: YS Jagan

Tadepalli, April 2: Former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that the supreme sacrifice of Jesus Christ for humanity is the true message of Good Friday. He said that the life of the compassionate Lord Jesus stands as a symbol of sacrifice, and that Good Friday, when He was crucified, and Easter Sunday, when He was resurrected, are defining moments that changed the course of human history. He emphasised that love for fellow human beings, compassion for the helpless, forgiveness towards enemies, immense patience, boundless sacrifice, and selfless living are the core values that Jesus conveyed to the world through His life and teachings.

On the occasion of Good Friday and Easter, several Christian religious leaders and pastors from different regions met YS Jagan at the YSRCP Central Office and conveyed their greetings. They offered special prayers seeking God’s blessings for the welfare, peace, and harmony of the people of the state, and extended their blessings to him. YS Jagan noted that Good Friday symbolizes sacrifice and love, while Easter represents hope, renewal, and faith. He expressed his desire for love, tolerance, and mutual respect to grow in society and conveyed his greetings to all Christian brothers and sisters in the state, wishing that every family live with happiness, health, and prosperity.
