YSRCP Telangana meet on May 2

Hyderabad, The State Executive of the YSR Congress Telangana unit will be held here on May 2 in which the political situation of the State, the governance of TRS, its failure in implementing the poll promises and its anti-farmer policies would be discussed.

“The State executive, will be chaired by Telangana Party President P Srinivas Reddy, and attended by General Secretary, Secretaries, Joint Secretaries, executive members and leaders of affiliated units,” party leader Shiv Kumar told reporters here on Monday.

TRS during its one year governance has not implemented the 33 assurances given in the manifesto and it has to define what Golden Telangana is. The growing rate of farmer suicides in the State is not addressed and no record is being maintained.

When YSR was Chief Minister, he started the exercise of maintaining a record of those farmers who committed suicide and paid ex-gratia. The practice has been done away with by TRS and even the family members of martyrs are not given employment, he said.

“We welcome the decision of the High Court setting a deadline for the election to GHMC and YSRCP will be a force in the elections,” he said.
