YSRCP seeks probe into Operation Garuda

New Delhi: YSRCP former MP and senior leader YV Subba Reddy said that the TDP has planned to assassinate YS Jagan and when the bid failed, it is trying to resort to misinformation to ensure that the issue is diverted. 

Talking to mediapersons after meeting Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi on Monday, YV Subba Reddy said that Chandrababu is trying to argue that it was a minor incident and that id does not need any probe. 

“Chandrababu Naidu is afraid that he would be exposed if there is an inquiry.  It is because of this that the TDP has tried to create fake evidences such as flexies of assailant Srinivas with YS Jagan,” he said. 

YV Subba Reddy said that the attempt on Jagan’s life was made due to the active connivance of Chandrababu and the DGP. He said the way Chandrababu and the DGP reacted betrayed their role in the incident.  YV Subba Reddy said that despite the presence of the CISF, the law and order situation has to be handled by the state police. “It was the AP police that arrested Srinivas and not the CISF. The video footage of Srinivas being arrested by the AP Police personnel are there for all to see,” he said.
