YSRCP To Intensify Fight against AP Govt on Agri Gold Scam

Vijayawada: YSR Congress party senior leader Lella Appi Reddy said that the YSRCP will stand by the 20 lakh victims of Agri Gold scam in Andhra Pradesh. He said party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy already launched agitations demanding AP government to come to the rescue of the victims who were cheated by the company.

YS Jagan also raised the issue in the assembly, he said and held AP government responsible for the present crisis in the Agri gold. He alleged that the ruling TDP leaders deliberately brought the company under crisis by confiscating the assets. The 11 member committee constituted by YS Jagan to look into the issue will hold a meeting with the victims on Saturdayin Vijayawada.

The YSR Congress leader said more than 200 victims already committed suicide unable to cope with financial problems. He came down heavily on Chandrababu Naidu for not disbursing Rs 5 lakh exgratia to the victims of the agri gold.

Succumbing to YS Jagan's pressure, the CM announced in the Assembly that his government will provide compensation but no action was taken so far.
