Hyderabad: YSR Congress has demanded a white paper on the implementation of poll promises with regards to weaker sections.
‘We demand that the State government release a white paper on the implementation of the promises made in the manifesto for the welfare of weaker sections, party spokesperson K Parthasarathi told reporters here on Tuesday.
At every given opportunity TDP boasts of BC welfare and on the occasion of Jyotirao Phule’s jayanthi the party went hammer a tongs though it has done nothing for the weaker sections, he said.
Though Chandrababu Naidu has promised 33.33% reservations for the weaker sections it was not kept; weavers, toddy tappers, and other sections were given empty promises and there was no financial subsidy given despite the promise, he said.
It is time TDP spell out its deeds and how many promises were fulfilled from the manifesto with regard to weaker section welfare, he said.
