*Restore services stopped in gram secretariats*

Tadepalli, October 7: YSRCP has slammed the coalition government for trying to weaken the village secretariat system and demanded for immediate restoration of the four services it has stopped.
Speaking to media here on Wednesday Party spokesperson Konda Rajiv Gandhi said, the coalition is trying to weaken the gram swarajya system introduced by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and is trying to cut off the number of service all with a grudge towards the YSRCP leadership.
The Government has stopped the services of issuing caste and income certificates, besides reprinting farmers pass book and reissue of other services.
We demand that the four services be restored with immediate effect failing which we will undertake statewide agitation, he said.
While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken governance to the doorstep of people through village and ward secretariats, Chandrababu has been relentlessly trying to undermine them with a grudge towards the Opposition leader.
The cancellation of the four services would put farmers and other sections to severe hardships and depriving the people of basic services for political reasons is unfair, he said demanded restoration of the four services.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has set up the system 15,000 secretariats giving 540 types of services with an employment of 1.50 lakh while Chandrababu is trying to water it down with a grudge on YSRCP leadership.
