YSRCP cheif YS Jagan Reddy arressted and Released

New Delhi: YSRC Party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was arrested on Monday in the capital.
YS Jagan was arrested while leading a march from Jantar Mantar to the Assembly demanding a special status for Andhra Pradesh. He was arrested by the Delhi police on charges of disrupting the traffic and public order in the Capital.
Botcha Satyanarayana, a senior party leader, was also taken into custody along with the party chief among others.

Police had to forcibly take Jagan in their vehicle who was squatting outside the parliament in protest even as a clash broke out between the activists and police outside the parliament.

Jagan, however, stated that he was courting arrest in order to save the innocent people supporting him, from the lathi charge.

Later YS Jagan is released from police station.
