YS Jagan takes govt to task on Mogaltur incident

Velagapudi: The opposition leader in Andhra Pradesh Assembly and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Friday came down heavily on the government for its indifferent attitude towards people killed in accidents. 

In a heated debate over Mogaltur incident where five people were killed, YS Jagan Reddy said that 10 people were died in a recent road accident in Krishana district and five laborers were killed in Mogaltur incident, but neither the Chief Minister nor the ministers concerned not find time to console the victim families, he quipped .

 “The government lost its human face” he said and added that the employment and labour minister Atchhannaidu who made a statement on Mogaltur incident has misled the House with a clear intention to protect the interests of the Aqua Food Park management that is playing with the lives of the people.

The Opposition leader also took strong objection to government giving permission to the same management to establish another hazardous industry in Tundur. 
He said that the government had booked cases against the people opposing  it and added why the government showing so much interest to protect a private company he asked. He however said that neither he nor his party is against the industrialization but people’s health and other concerns should also be taken into consideration he added.
