Naidu’s promises will evaporate into thin air: CM YS Jagan

Chodavaram : Building up a strong narrative on the need to vote for YSRCP in the ensuing elections, Party president and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy cautioned people that a vote for TDP is equivalent of offering oneself voluntarily to a python.
Addressing a mammoth public meeting here on Monday, the Chief Minister drew the analogy of popular sarcastic Telugu idiom ‘Govinda Govinda’ to warn the voters that the poll promises of Chandrababu Naidu would evaporate into thin air as happened after the 2014 polls.
Recalling how TDP defaulted and cheated people on promises of waiver of farm and self-help group loans and Maha Lakshmi scheme, he said that the TDP chief left the youth to their fate after promising a job for every family and Rs. 2000 monthly stipend for the unemployed in the absence of jobs.
Stressing that the slew of welfare schemes like Amma Vodi, Vidya Deevena, Vidya Kanuka, Vasathi Deevena, Cheyutha, Aasara, Rythu Bharosa and services like door delivery of monthly social pensions through volunteers will continue only if Jagan continues to remain as Chief Minister, he asked the people to be wary of the misleading and false Super 6 and Super 7 promises of TDP.

The Chief Minister further said that Chandrababu Naidu compromised with New Delhi soon after coming to power in 2014 sacrificing the interests of the State including Special Status.
While not even a single scheme comes to our mind when we think of Chandrababu Naidu who served as Chief Minister for three terms, the TDP leader also duped the people making hollow promises on construction of Singapore-like Capital City conveniently ignoring the utility of Visakhapatnam.
In the last 58 months, YSRCP Government has disbursed DBT welfare benefits worth Rs. 2.7 lakh crore for the needy by pressing buttons 130 times in full transparency while Chandrababu Naidu accumulated illegal money by indulging in scams and ignoring the interests of various sections of people, he said.
The TDP leader wants to use the same illegally accumulated money to buy votes now, the Chief Minister said and cautioned people to be wary of the evil designs of the TDP-led alliance.
He asked the people to bless the YSRCP in the ensuing elections by pressing two buttons for the fan symbol, one for the assembly and the other for the Lok Sabha and pave the way for the Party to make a clean sweep of 175 assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats.
