YS Jagan Mohan Reddy consoles farmers

Kurnool: Leader of the Opposition in AP Assembly and YSR Congress Party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy consoled the three farmers, who consumed poison for losing their crop due to spurious seeds, over the phone on Thursday. 

Three farmers, identified as Jamalaiah, Purnaiah and Tirupati Rao, consumed poison in disgust and they are under treatment in the Government hospital.

Moved by the plight of farmers, the YSRCP chief assured them that the YSRCP will always stand by the farmers. YS Jagan, who is currently conducting padayatra in Kurnool district, enquired about the three farmers's health condition with his party leaders. Later, he spoke to them over the phone. 

YS Jagan said that the Government should immediately solve the problems of the farmers. He requested the farmers to not to take any extreme step and he will solve all their problems after coming to the power.

He condemned the distribution of dull quality of seeds to the farmers. YS Jagan also asked the Government to take measures for distributing good quality seeds to the farmers.
