Who are you to pass judgments on Jagan?

Mylavaram, April 15,
2013: In a spirited attack on Finance Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy and PCC
chief Botcha Satyanarayana who supported the former’s vitriolic outburst
against the YSR family, Smt. Y.S. Sharmila asked them how they could brand YSRCP
chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy as criminal when no court has found him
guilty.
Addressing a huge
public meeting at Mylavaram in Krishna District during the course of her Maro
Praja Prasthanam on Sunday, she questioned the logic behind the Congress
leaders’ argument that the Ministers had not committed any crime in issuing 26
GOs during the YSR regime.
“If the GOs were in
order as per your argument, why did you send Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy to jail? In
case the GOs were faulty, why didn’t the concerned ministers go to jail?” she
asked them.
She said Sri Jagan
Mohan Reddy is only on judicial remand and no court has convicted him or found
him guilty. “In such circumstances, who are you to pass judgments on him?” She
asked Minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy.
Seeking an explanation
from Anam and other ministers on why they were silent during the YSR regime if he
had really committed a mistake, she said the very Congress leaders who kept
silent when YSR’s name was included in the FIR against Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy
are now objecting to the inclusion of some ministers’ names in the charge
sheets.
“It only exposed their
double standards and the conspiracy hatched against Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy,” she
said.
